Everything were in great shape that day we had our outbound (not all: forgot to have breakfast, not enough sleep not due to over excitement, but really O could not get sleep the night before)! It was really fun and suuuuper adventurous! Well it's the first time that I went into extremes, I suppose. I am not one who'd go frolic in the sun and let myself get tired. Well yeah, sometimes yes. But a lot of times I'd be better sitting on the couch with a good book..or doing something else. BUT, yes, there is a but.. I've come to learn to love the sun. Soak up the sun, girl. It was uber fun walking all day long (I had a bag with me all throughout the walking thing.. and it merely bagged the most essential stuff: my sunblock, mints, pen and paper, towel. but my sunblock being the most important one. dubbed as: 'vanity in the woods') and feeling the smell of fresh air all day long. Love it! It was ultimately challenging going inside the caves and feeling the thrill of ducking in and out, having my first headache due to the rocks I bumped my head into -- i totally forgot my name ha! ha!, almost exploding curiosity as to how could we get out, and most of all: the feeling that people ages ago (aka our heroes) went there trying to get the freedom our country deserves. It was impeccably stunning to experience all those! I could not believe I fell into trap of the joke of our educator! Seriously, I was heart fully singing that song, which supposedly I thought, was an act of prayer or some kind of offering to the cave we were in. BUT NOT! Heck. I could die laughing the moment I knew it. There's this one cave which tested my spirit to the edge.. it was the Aguinaldo Cave, where the water reached my neck and we had to cross it. Although I obviously know how to swim, I still felt scared 'cause I know the floor isn't exactly all at the same level. And some of my classmates were holding my back! I was close to subduing myself to the water! Shocks! But as I have repeatedly saying, it was grrreat. The greatest part is: the thought that I am enjoying myself with the people I am with for the first time in times like this!
P.S. How ironic is it that I was talking of the all the adventures and mis adventures I had on this place when I had not mentioned a single thing as to where it is? Awful. It's in Tunay na Biak na Bato and Biak na Bato National Park in San Miguel, Bulacan. My thank yous go to the Lakbay Outbound Educators who handled us, our guides in the caves, the bus driver. :) And yeah, due to technical difficulties, pictures will just be posted during the sem break.
