>Met the Editor-In-Chief of the UP Publication, Philippine Collegian
he was our coach for the filipino review in SCRC. nothing so special 'bout it except knowing he was the ed in chief, which is like, totally cool. uttering these words somehow left me an instant feeling of meeting a star. lol.
>Just finished our last review for the UPCAT awhile ago.
it was all fun. if the boring air didn't pave its way in during the math review of the simulation. i wouldn't write it to be that way if i didn't see half the class getting some Zzzzzzsss. they were all right. i wish there was some getting to know you stuff so that everybody knows everyone. well, at the very least, i got to know them.. by name ;) FOR THE RECORD, i'm not good at remembering names i only heard for a shortwhile (and my cousin yzabel a.k.a. nica, helps me in this.xoxo.): CEDIE, STEPHANIE, ARCHIE, DAVID, CES, ROXANNE, CLAIDE.. fill in your names. xoxo.
> Had our first VOX meeting last thursday.
i was assigned to be the partner of natanael cane, sports editor. which obviously meant, we'll have to be working together for the whole quarter and (perks!) watch every single varsity meet! and for the part, we'll have to know each game terms. how crazy would that be? ...okay, the only thing that snaps in my mind is 'headbutt', which i know, we won't totally use 'coz it would be very impossible for students to go boxing. lol. and oh yeah, didn't attend the first formal training the following day. got review. so there. mr. zap said the staff of the Varsitarian (UST School Publication) will be there too. so sadly, i wasn't there. but he said there will be more formal trainings coming.
>The Art of Hosting and Emceeing Seminar
what i've just been waiting for. was so surprised to see my uncle was there too.
met lots of people, including the Cebu Mayor, Frank; St Scholastica Professor and Writer; PDI Staff. And of course, Butch Albarracin.
>Sleepover finally came!
from friday night to tuesday, i'm in valle verde in pasig with my cousins (chin and nics) in our cousin's house, annfel. totally cool 'coz i have instant wi-fi here since starbucks is just a cross from the street away. yeah. what's super cool with it is that the alchemy, starbucks, sm hypermart, tiendesitas, ark avilon, and fun ranch are all just a cross-the-street away. i love it here. we spent yesterday with a mass in sm megamall at 2, bought sara bareilles cd (love!), then went to fun ranch and did everything fun (lol.), then had a pedi. mine's frosted red, nics' frosted blue, annfel's frosted cyan, and ate chin's frosted plum. yeah, we're all frosted! hah! we were all dying to paint ours in neon colors, but unluckily they don't have such. so there. ate chin bought a vcd of rent in sm for P75 only! how amazing is that?! good sale, huh?
>Tiendesitas Madness all over
saw a bag in tiende which i totally drooled over to bits. i'll buy it later. :) it's the best school bag. i'll have to leave my kickers body bag for a little while, i guess.
>SouthBorder later in Tiendesitas
we'll be chilling out later in tiende to watch sb while munching on snacks and enjoying everything splendid. :-) meanwhile, right now i'm left with nics and annfel in the house and i know i've truly got to go. we're all craving for a caffeine fix. so now we'll head over strabucks then stroll along tiendesitas while waiting for everyone. :) this is the life.
now who said that mondays are way so bad? ..certainly not me.
..if i could live all my mondays this way.
xoxo ;-*
U P D A T E :
THE TIME NOW IS 7:47PM. TIME BROUGHT TO YOU BY MY KEYBOARD.lol
just came home from tiendesitas with annfel and nics. we were all by ourselves strolling first and buying a cuppa joe at starbucks. ate richelle, my cousin's nanny, accompanied us in crossing the street since, as shameful as it may sound, we don't know how to cross the street. lol. so both nics and i grabbed tight of our dulce de leches while annfel got her vanilla cream. as much as our want to linger longer in sbucks, we couldn't resist our feet walking towards sm hypermart. so off we went and strolled there. then we went to tiende and strolled more. and then for the best thing, we rode a kalesa. as much as we thought that the word 'fool' is plastered in the forehead of the manong.. 'we payed for only one round along tiende. but we insisted for another round and pretended that nics was a balikbayan. still, we were wrong and didn't get what we wanted 'coz everything was monitored. haha.' so we strolled again in the fashion village, then in the novelties, then to the foods then simply, wherever our feet took us to. oh yeah, before all of those, we bought our slippers. since our feet were fresh from pedis, we were so eager to show them off. like it was the best feet they could ever see in their whole life. lol. so we dropped our sandals, like it was a before and after, and wore the heavenly slippers. and i tell you, modesty aside, people looked at us from toe to head.. then head to toe. hehe. our tummies were grumbling like it wants to eat merely everything it sees. so annfel and nics bought mint chip shake and pistacchio shake from Better Than Ice Cream.. or the BITIC. lol. Then we also bought bbqs from the famous Bonnie's BBQ and chillaxed on one table while savoring each minute of the fabbity-fab day. as our legs grew tired, we walked home.. brimming with confidence in walking the street, while we synchronizingly walked, with our head looking on our divine feet, and catching our breath as the motorists drove on the road.. AND WE PASSED..... BY OURSELVES. luckily though, we're still alive. we'll go back in tiende in a little while and soothe with the tunes of south border. this is the kind of monday i longed to savor. finally, it came true. :-)
p.s. oh yeah, we saw a swing in the home department which is really beautiful! it was like kenneth cobonpue's work! P18,000. but annfel said that there's also that same thing in trinoma and costs a lot cheaper than that. it's just P12, 000. (PASSING THOUGHT: my teacher once told us that the correct pronunciation of Pesos is not pe-sos, rather: PEY-SAUCE. i think i'll need a lot of getting used to it. like, can you tell that to a manong in the street?lol.)

Oh shoot! I want to be in the Varsitarian!
So sad because I'm no longer a vox staffer. Hahaha.
And speaking of Sports, IU'm the undiscovered sports writer of Vox last year. Haha. That category is the only category that I had an award. LOL. Didn't know I can kick words in sports writing. I can give you some pointers if you want to!
ooooh! sure! i'll need heaps of help with the terms!!!!!!!!!
