I won't HUSH it

I've just finished reading Becca Fitzpatrick's Hush, Hush. Now I'm officially a big fan! I visited her site in my hopes to see glimpses of the book's sequel.. and found new release dates. O, tell me this ain't so:

Frankly, I've never been much of a Twilight fan (or Twi-hard, as some call themselves). Of course, I did all the drooling over Edward Cullen for quite a time coz he's just so damn irresistible. But I can't seem to find a fine connection between me, loving Twilight so much, and reading all the books, though I'm a self-proclaimed book lover. I guess it has somehow to do with the whole trending thing. You see, I'm not really one who immediately jumps into the bandwagon. Actually, I don't like jumping into the bandwagon: suddenly liking things a lot of people like. Like what happened with the NBA games which is soooo trending right now. When a lot of girls suddenly become NBA fans out of nowhere. I myself protest to deviate from a lot of norms. Or maybe it has to do with distinctiveness and independence. Whatever. Sure, I watched Twilight - around 5 months after it's screening. And sure, I read New Moon - because it was the only book I had the time I was looking for new titles off the shelf. And sure, Edward Cullen is hot - because he seemed to be the epitome of gentleman-ness.. and that he was a vampire. And as a vampire, it added a whole new twist to teenage lovey dovey movies. Imagination springs. But what exactly made me go gaga over Hush, Hush? It was the fact that although book reviewers say that it has a lot to do with the similarities with Meyer's booming novels - it isn't wholly so. There was a lot more variations between the characters, and doesn't expectably focus on the whole ordinary/regular romantic part (but sure do, when it did - it was so kilig!). It was something new, something fresh.. and something worth looking forward to. And maybe, just because only a few profess their utmost love for the novel. :) Well, as I begged a few days ago.. I cry unto filmmakers to not create the movie just yet. I'm skeptical if they could already find the whole and perfect cast (yes, perfection is key. pls pls make Patch the handsomest he could be!). My imagination is still wild on every page of the book. Becca, you're awesome. PATCH... YOU ROCK MY WORLD! <3>

for some reason, I keep on saying "rock" for the past couple of days. and i dont know why. things just really... rock. :)
