Farewell to the firsts this first semester

I'm kissing vacation hell-o!!! First day of vacay today ~ hurrah

In an effort to wake up in an unusual hour, my phone rings at 1 o' clock. I ignored the first ring hoping it would make a difference.. then phone rings again. Uh-oh. Must be emergency.

Me: *eyes closed and accidentally clicked green button -> phone begins to sound an indistinct chatter -> puts phone into my ear -> "Hello, hello, Robbin? Hello, Robbin?" -> suddenly fully awake -> unknown number -> clears throat -> clears throat -> clears throat once more -> making voice sound sweet and girly. Fail attempt.* Hello? Yes? Yes? Good afternoon, who's this?
Guy: "Yes, from L***. Can you host C******* this Monday?"

Thing is: I hate my morning voice. I sounded more like a man than the guy on the other line awhile ago. And I have a sore throat to boot! How's that.

And since I've officially bid adieu to the semester that was, allow me to rekindle things and walk down past memory lane :)

CHEERS TO MY FIRSTS THIS FIRST SEMESTER. You've all been kind. Or....

First time to be an irregular student [and VERY irregular indeed]
I thought classes start on June 15th and I enrolled on June 7th - the official opening of classes. Now what. I've been much more blessed with a nice bunch of classmates - and a whole new onyourown-missindependent-be so friendly aura. Six subjects with different classmates, different courses. Instead of staying with my original, CA2A.. Let's be very generic. Hahaha. And actually, I was wrong. Being an irregular student was one helluvah awesome state. Hello CA2B, COMM2B, PL2A, MK2A, PS1C, and of course.. CA2A!

First time attending LIMO's Acquaintance Partay

First time to run for council in college

First hostings for the semester

First hosting for the semester with Bryan Lato for the RSO Week

First hosting for EcoRampa with Kebong Villanueva

First hosting in DLSU Taft with Ken Dillena, Barry Codera, Eyz Arnuco, and Carla Trinidad for Youth Philippines' Youthopia Summit 2010
(above) With Mr. Neric Acosta

First hosting with (yeah, the Dream Team) Fairy Sy and Arvin Ramos for the closing ceremonies of Letramurals 2010

First short clip for Comm class - Public Service Announcement

It was sooo fulfilling to have my concept made into a short short film (PSA). Okay, but that was nearly 5 minutes, people! Hahaha. Thanks very much to Fral (Buison) and the prod house who did the storyboard, edited, and sequenced the videos! And to my girls who worked twice and thrice as hard to capture everything: Kyla Arce, Stef Micaller, and Mig Karen Inciso. I'm really really gonna miss our group! And oh, another super thank yous to the people who were in this video: the awesome kiddos, Christian Angelo Jacinto, the lady who'd love to have a sportscar (hehe), James Hearty Zaragoza, etc. I know, I know, it was an ambush interview. But wouldn't you be happier to have been part of this campaign? Heehee! The faces of reality. 8D *evil laugh*

(above) Fral's storyboard that put the A in ahh-mazing for the impromptu report in class! Hahaha.

CA2A, CA2B, COMM2B, PL2A, PS1C, MK2A and to all my professors this semester (Mr. Jomar M, Mr. Jonathan M, Mrs. Tenda D, Ms. Danica A, Ms. Manielyn P, Mr. Franco R, Mr. James F, Mr. Randy L)

It's been lovely.

I have never been happier to bid farewell to the people that I have opened a door in my heart for. Farewells are made for us to catch our breaths when we meet again. This is not goodbye.

Till we meet again, friends.
