Tira-Tira!!!

UNSPOKEN RULE: we are not allowed to watch Koreanovelas, and Filipino movies at home.

It’s one cold-hard rule. Whenever nobody’s watching in the boobtube, and I can freely have the remote control with me, I’d try switching it to a Koreanovela that’s all the rage in school. Once I went to school and all these girls were talking about this oober-handsome guy from a certain Koreanovela and they’ll all giggle so much in their highest spirits because this guy’s their new crush. So at least, I’d try to like, jump with them in frivolous excitement and tell myself that I got a crush on the Korean guy too! Ah! See how kids do the thang back then. See what they can do! Oh well. As if I’ve never had enough, they’ll be talking about a certain scenario and re-enact it in school with all the dialogues which they’ve memorized. So then, I’ll be like an audience that will laugh with their stupidity. I could never imagine how they could talk about it for hours and hours and hours and even have our teacher call their attention in class for all the silent chuckles they let out thinking that nobody notices them. And another thing, how could they memorize the perfect sequence of each scene?! Those were big question marks for me.
Luckily (erm), now that I get to live with my grandmother and my folks are in Cavite.. and add to that that my grandma is kinda the opposite of my folks, we watch this My Girl in ABS-CBN. It’s actually cute in the sense of fashion and the dash of craziness of the characters! Call it freedom, but I just love how it all goes.

Uh, TIRA-TIRA?
