The original partner-in-crime

Angelica (left) with her ninang!

It was one of the biggest surprises to me this day to have reunited with my first-ever-pre school friend-slash-childhood-bestfriend after 12 years of no communication. Angelica and I were friends back in pre-school and almost everyday, we crash each other's houses. Both my family and hers were really in good terms. It was only when I left Queen of Angels Learning Center to transfer to Elizabeth Seton School-South in Prep that we lost communication. The last I've heard was that they're already in Virginia! We were Betty and Veronica, Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hide, Miley and Lily, Carly and Sam, Spongebob and Patrick.. and every partner there ought to be. Our brains were so joined that we seem to be long-lost sisters. Yes, she seemed to be my long-lost sister. I was with her when we've gone over and beyond the "I-love-Barbie so much" stage, having our own house and living together every afternoon under the big office table we had inside my parent's office (believe me, we just layed mats there, plus my toy TV and off we had a slumber partay!), belted out to the highest tunes without ever telling each other that our voices should immediately be hushed (which, my dad's secretaries always do: "Shhhhhhh," us.), acting and bossing around the office, and we never got tired of spending endless hours watching the same cartoons over and over again. She was my first-ever partner-in-crime in doing the craziest stuffs we've ever done when we were seemingly 5 year old pigtailed tots. If not for Facebook, I don't know how else we could be connected, again. If only that Virginia is just a few blocks away from my house (which is reeeeally far from happening. wishful thinking!), we could hang-out together right this minute. I just miss this girl a lot!
